Trustee & Safeguarding Officer

I was let loose on the River Mersey at the age of 16, when I became an Apprentice Liverpool Pilot, having completed my apprenticeship, I went off to explore the world’s oceans to gain my Masters Certificate.

For the past 26 years I have worked as a pilot, firstly on the Humber Estuary / Rivers Trent and Ouse and for the last 19 years I have been back on the Mersey.

In my spare time I am the leader at 4th Heswall Sea Scouts and enjoy dinghy sailing at the Marine Lake, West Kirby and on the River Dee. I am a member at West Kirby Sailing Club.
